A new way to find the right space.
Context
MOTS is a new business channel created by Grupo Fabric to centralize its catering and event venue offering. The project brought together multiple brands and venues, each with different characteristics, services, and possibilities. The challenge was to turn this diverse offering into a digital experience that was clear, easy to explore, and simple for the internal team to manage.
The problem
The team already knew what information they needed to communicate, but there was no clear architecture for organizing it. The website needed to solve two needs at the same time. For people planning an event: find a venue that matches their needs and request a quote with enough information to start the commercial process. For the MOTS team: add new venues, update their characteristics, and manage the catalog without requiring a new development every time the offering changed. Quote requests also needed to connect with the internal sales process.
The solution
I designed a structured CMS architecture where each venue works as an independent record within WordPress. Each venue can be associated with a brand and have its own attributes, services, and characteristics. This allows the team to manage the entire catalog from a single place and add new venues using the same structure. The platform combines three layers:
- Catalog — venues organized and managed directly through WordPress
- Discovery — filters that help users find venues based on their needs and preferences
- Conversion — a quote request flow connected to the internal sales operation

Finding the right space
The content architecture was designed around how people actually look for an event venue. Instead of browsing through a list of locations, users can narrow down the options based on what they need and then explore each venue in detail.
Event needs → Filters → Matching venues → Venue details → Quote request
The filter structure is connected directly to the CMS fields, allowing it to evolve as the catalog grows.

From form to sales team
The quote request is part of the same system. The information submitted by each potential customer is automatically structured and added to a standardized Excel template, where the team can centralize and organize all incoming requests.
Customer → Form → Structured data → Excel → MOTS team
The website doesn't just generate leads. It delivers them in a structured format that is ready to move into the internal sales process.

My role
I led the project together with the MOTS team, from defining the architecture through development and production launch. My work included:
- Information architecture
- CMS modeling
- Field and relationship definition
- UX/UI design
- Search flow design
- WordPress development
- Filter configuration
- Quote request system
- Data automation
- Collaboration with the MOTS team
- Implementation and production launch
Outcome
MOTS evolved from an event offering that needed to be structured digitally into a centralized, manageable commercial channel. The team can now manage its catalog independently, while potential customers have a clear tool to explore venues, filter them based on their needs, and request a quote. The architecture makes it possible to add new venues without building new structures from scratch, while automation connects every request with the internal sales process.
A new venue doesn't require new development. Just a new record.
